The ‘E’ in E-Series stands for ‘Explosion Proof’, but it could also stand for ‘Extra-rugged’. These virtually indestructible displays have all the features you will ever need for a frequency input flow indicator, from simple flow rate & total, alarms, analogue outputs with or without HART, serial communications to linearisation and temperature & pressure compensation/correction. All units share the same robust epoxy coated Aluminium or 316 Stainless Steel housing with clear backlit digital display and bar graph with three optical keys to switch between screens or even program the whole unit. If the cover is removed there are mechanical keys and the ability to program with Fluidwells bespoke software via a USB interface. This feature also allows some units to be able to data log. With Explosion Proof certification according to ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA you know it’s going to be accepted worldwide. New to the range, the E-490 extends the capabilities by adding a loop powered analogue input universal display for flow, level, pressure temperature, speed and many more.
