VSE Volumentechnik's IO-Link is a new global standard for bi-direction point-to point industrial networking communications. To keep VSE and its flowmeters moving forward in line with its Industry 4.0 goals, VSE have developed an IO-Link adaptor that works across the VSE flowmeter range to easily allow integration into an IO-Link network. The IO-Link converter simply connects to the VS, EF, RS or VHM flowmeter via its M12 connector and then connectors to the IO-Link master via another M12 connector and its done. A short setup is required, but once done you are ready to go, no plug-in boards, no additional wiring, it really is that simple. Although developed for the VSE range of flowmeter, if your flowmeter has a PNP or NPN square-wave output it will work, ask for assistance.
