SOFTEX® Spider Couplings

UK Flowtechnik offer Softex elastic couplings to connect one machinery to another. Softex couplings are available in Aluminium, Cast Iron, Sintered Steel, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel as well as various rubber elements. UK Flowtechnik have a large stock programme which includes metric, imperial, taper and spline bores. 

SOFTEX® -Standard couplings

Softex standard coulpings are used to connect one shaft to another. They are axially pluggable, torsionally flexible and help to reduce vibration. Softex drive couplings are compact in design and once fitted, are maintenace free. The hubs are available in aluminium, cast iron, sintered steel and steel. UK Flowtechnik offer different elastomer hardness elements for applications with increased torque or wider temperature range. The standard Softex couplings can be supplied machined with a bore and keyway (metric & imperials sizes), tapered or splined. 

SOFTEX® - FA Flange Couplings

The FA flange couplings are designed for heavy machinery applications. All sizes are available unmachined or ready to be assembled. FA flange couplings can be connected to our standard softex couplings with a spider element in between. The materials are made from cast iron, other materials available upon request. 

SOFTEX® - TL with Taper Bush

The softex TL couplings can be used for all mechanical drive applications. They are designed with friction locked hub connections with detechable bore shafts. Two designs available TL 1 and TL 2, with TL 2 couplings hubs having the advanatge to be axially separated. Standard materials is made from sintered steel or cast iron. 

SOFTEX® - ES Backlash-free Couplings

The ES softex couplings are designed for zero backlash shaft connection. They are axially pluggable with a simple blind mounting design which reduces time consuming assembly work. Softex ES drive couplings are compact in design and once fitted, are maintenace free. The hubs are available in aluminium and steel. UK Flowtechnik offer different elastomer hardness elements for applications with increased torque or wider temperature range.
