The RS Helical Screw flowmeter excels in its own right being highly accurate (+/- 0.5% of reading) and ideal for pump/valve testing and hydraulic cylinder positioning such as revolutionary wave-power devices and aerospace fuel valves and pumps to name but a few. The design of the helical rotors gives a low pressure drop and low shear compared to circular gears meters making ideal for extremely viscous, non-Newtonian or filled materials such as epoxy resins, Polyols, Isocyanate and Silicones. The innovative interpolation electronics allows the meter factor to be adjusted to suit every application with K factors of up to 400,000 P/L possible. The high temperature version is suitable for media temperatures of up to 210°C, making the meter suitable for brake and gear box testing along with high temperature resin applications as seen in the latest RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) and Carbon Fibre moulding techniques.
