Elettrotec’s IFE flow switch is the internals from the companies versatile IF-V flow indicator/meter in an all metal body to give a higher pressure rating with the addition of an adjustable reed contact on the back. These are purely designed as flow alarms (either high or low) and use a novel variation of the Variable Area principle to produce a compact, robust metal bodied unit. Instead of using a traditional conical shaped tube and float, Elettrotec uses a cylindrical float in a cylindrical holder with a ‘V’ shaped grove. This solution allows for a much shorter installation. All clean low viscosity media can be measured such a water, chemicals & coolant in essence just about anything that is compatible with the materials of construction. A N/O (with no flow) contact is fitted for a low/no or overflow warning
