Hayes Engine Couplings

Hayes engine couplings are used for connecting petrol and diesel engines to hydraulic pumps.

Hayes Original Flywheel Couplings are for use in tough engine applications where torsion vibrations occurs. Flexible neoprene elements absorb shock loads, while providing a steady dampening effect. They are available with a wide variety of spline and bore & keys, ready to bolt to the flywheel. Spline hubs do not lock onto the shaft in order to allow for any axial movement, similar to driveshaft assemblies in automotive applications.

Hayes HEX-FLX Flywheel Couplings are a 2-piece coupling with high torsional stiffness for operation below critical speeds. They are available in various series for standard SAE flywheels. Sintered steel hubs can be supplied in customise lengths. Secure locking system to eliminate fretting.

Hayes Pump Mounting Plates are designed to carry your toughest loads. Customers hang pumps, motors, blowers, gearboxes and many other driven equipment from their pump mounting plates. They are machined to give maximum thread engagement and can be customised for your specific application.

Hayes Aluminium Housings combined with the Hayes original and torsionally stiff HEX-FLEX flywheel couplings tackle tough petrol and diesel engine applications. Available with a wide variety of mounts and sensor options and can be used in conjunction with bearing-supported stub shafts and generator drives.
