The FMP…VR from Elettrotec is a traditional Variable Area flowmeter or Rotameter with back connections allowing surface or panel mounting and a needle valve for regulating the flow of the liquid or gas. Manufactured from clear Acrylic Elettrotec FMP…VR competes well with metal & glass VA meters but offers a reduction in weight, more robust design and lower costs. This style of flowmeter can measure and control the flow of low viscosity liquids or gases such as air or Nitrogen making it ideal for the industrial and water/waste or anywhere where chemical dosing, aeration and Nitrogen blankets are used. Other applications for Elettrotec’s VA meters are cooling circuits to moulding machines, heat pumps and exchangers, compressors and water heating circuits.
