ST range of ‘Y’ strainers from Flomec are ideal for protecting positive displacement flowmeters, specifically Flomecs OM & EGM Oval Gear ranges, but just as good for the Flowstat, and SPX Pelton wheel flowmeters. Basically, anything that contains magnets which may need protecting from ferrous debris building up and stopping them. They come in a variety of sizes from ¼” to 2”, with either BSPP or NPT threads and a Stainless Steel body making them a cost effective way to safeguard your flowmeter from costly damage caused by contamination and debris.
