The EX800 Series transposes Faraday’s principles into a simple insertion design that is ideal for measuring most conductive liquids. As the pipe is becomes the ‘body’ of the flowmeter, costs are reduced (especially on larger pipe sizes) making the EX series very economic when compared with in-line flowmeters.  As this type of flowmeter has no moving parts, it can be used on dirty or contaminated media.
